When its Bull and Gate expect fireworks from the local bands. The entire religious music devotees gather together to listen to anything Prog-Rock to Power Punk. Fusilier & Firkin

Located just next to the Camden Lock, Fusilier & Firkin is known for handling extreme genres of music from Folk to Punk and Metal and that too all at one station. Themed nights include Tuesday's and Wednesday’s as Acoustic Café night where bathroom singers can sore their throat on stage, while Thursdays and Fridays are for those who won’t go deaf over Punk and Metal bashing. Fifty Five Bar and Lounge

The Edinboro Castle

A 'Castle' which houses a pub as well as a restaurant, Edinboro Castle gives an insight into the more sophisticated society of Camden who visits this place on a regular basis. The Devonshire Arms

The Devonshire Arms is one of the longest standing pub in UK where one can get to view a genuine representation of Goth culture. Jazz Cafe is not one of those regular cafes where you just have a night out which is forgettable at the end of your trip. Coming to Jazz Cafe is like going out for a picnic. Bar Vinyl

Along with a bar that is simple yet doesn't disappoint on taste and quality, Bar Vinyl offers some good drinks and snacks at a cheap price. Liberties

Liberties is a bar cum restaurant that can turn out to be a great stop over for a glass of wine or for having a chat with your friends over a nice menu of international cuisines. With an all wood interiors and food to match the lovely decor, you can try bangers and mash which are recommended in any pub. But some odd ones, but yet tasty on the buds are dishes like the wild mushroom and sage risotto, coconut breaded butterfly prawns bacon salad and warm butternut squash. Wine selection is normal; nothing to boast about, yet not to so bad that you need to sunk your face. Red and White wines along with Champagnes contribute to the wine selection. Liberties doesn't boast too much about itself so neither does it fall flat on your face.

Koko / Camden Palace

KOKO, formerly known as Camden Palace, is an old fashioned club and is a testimony to Camden's developing music scene over time. Many music legends have played some of the best music tracks here. The interiors are really contrasting to a modern Camden club, with high, panted, glossy ceilings and columns decorated with Greek Gods statuettes. Friday nights are supposed to be indie themed while Saturdays are reserved for Guilty Pleasures cheese-fest.

Roundhouse has been there in Camden for a long period of time and is a legendary music venue from its starts as an arts centre in 1964. WKD

Just situated opposite Camden Tube Station, WKD short for Wicked and is a club that arranges for different genres of music with different themes. One of the most high flying venues in town, Underworld has artists like Sherly Crown, The Offspring, Radiohead playing for them. A little expensive, but worth the price, here you can get to hear the latest rock music that are climbing the chartbusters. Such international and local talent is worth more than one visit and for that you need to book your tickets in advance. The interiors of the venue have suitably made up to suit the rock scene and sound system definitely boosts up the ear banging rock music. Bar Fly club might be a new entrant to Camden's alternative music scene, but it has established itself as one of the most happening venues in town. Lock 17 / Dingwalls

Dingwalls is the perfect hub in Camden to experiment and experience different genres of music, stage acts and performances. Various bands and performers like Norah Jones and The Beta Band have rocked the stage and entertained the guests at Dingwalls. In the other section, you can get to enjoy comedy acts of stand up comedians such as Jongleurs, which is biggest and most known comedy brand in UK. The Forum

The Forum is a venue for a number of musical events and doesn't limit itself to any specific genre of music. Many international and national bands have performed their best here. Here you can get to listen to a variety of clubs/bands such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It is necessary that you get your tickets prior to the event or you will have to pay a lot more than expected! When it’s Saturday night at The Forum, they play the best of classics from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Electric Ballroom

The Electric Ballroom is one of the rare music venues in Camden which plays rock bands as well as accommodates an indoor market during weekends. It was the first ballroom in London to use electric lighting in place of gas lighting, which gave it its name. Spaced out on three floors, each floor has its own DJ along with Live Music which includes a graph ranging from industrial, punk and metal to drum 'n' bass, techno, disco and funk. There are a total of four bars and gaming machines and pool tables on the first floor. Sometimes it also stages dance performances.
