ODEON is the largest chain of cinema theatres in UK with over 100 cinema theatres. Today ODEON and UCI Cinemas Group operate as partners in the field of multiplexes. ODEON-Camden has a very interesting history behind it. Initially it was known as Gaumont Palace which opened in 1937 to accommodate up to 2,742 guests and was one of the most luxurious theatres in town. Later on it came to be known only as Gaumont and in 1964 it acquired the name of ODEON. The theatre since then has closed and re-opened many times. Today as a part of UCI Cinemas Group it has transformed into a 5 screen multiplex with a maximum accommodation for up to 403 guests.

  • Open Air Theatre – Regents Park

Open Air Theatre in Regent's Park is run by The New Shakespeare Company Ltd and was first started by Robert Atkins and Sydney Caroll in 1932. The theatre promotes Shakespearean productions and has one of the largest amphitheatres in London with a seating capacity of 1187 guests. Various facilities and services are offered for disabled people. A licensed bar is within the premises of the theatre. One can get to watch various English and Shakespeare inspired plays by buy buying tickets for matinee and evening shows.

Etcetera Theatre is Camden's best known pub cum theatre located just a few meters away from Camden Town Tube Station.
