  • Jewish Museum

The Jewish Museum in UK is one of the most important cultural centers in Britain which platforms some of leading happenings in Jewish history from the Norman conquest of 1066 and the Holocaust during World War II till present century. There are two sites of the Museum one is in Finchley while the other one is on Albert Street in Camden Town, which is quite a small one. Both of them hold some of the most interesting and untold secrets of Jewish history elucidated through displays, artifacts and temporary exhibitions. The Museum is divided into three galleries which incorporate a section displaying British Jewish history, another exhibition area and the third one is a gallery displaying Judaica ceremonial art. The highlights of the Museum are artifacts like Hanukkah lamps, rimmonim caps and Venetian synagogue Ark from the 16th century.

The Alberti Gallery in Camden set up by its owner Tim Bruce-Dick in 1990, specializes in Contemporary Russian and East European Art. The artists who feature their work here have graduated from some of best schools of art around the world. Along with painting, most of them have mastered the art of restoring renaissance paintings, which obviously shows in their art. The artists work in their native countries but their work is displayed all over US and UK. The variety in their paintings can be seen in the mediums they use such as watercolors, pen and oil.

  • Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds is one of its kind’s wax museum in London and with long list of branches all over Europe, USA and Asia. One of them is near Regent’s Park. The museum was the initiative of its first sculptor Marie Tussaud who created her first wax figure of Voltaire, in 1777. Since then many celebrities, politicians, actors, artists have their life like statuettes sculpted here, which has attracted thousands of visitors from all over the world. The highlight of these statuettes is that they have near perfect resemblance to real figures and it's the hard work of the sculptors that they take off by measuring the celebrity, using his/her photos for creating the wax model. Celebrities include those from the likes of Albert Einstein, famous scientist to Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood superstar.
